Rossana D'Antonio

Welcome

Welcome!

I’ve embarked on a grand new adventure and hope you’ll come along with me. I’ve written a book which is scheduled for publication on May 13, 2025. 26 Seconds: Grief and Blame in the Aftermath of Losing My Brother in a Plane Crash is a labor of love that is well on its way to see the light of day. It’s a story of corporate greed, tragedy, betrayal, blame, grief, heartbreak, and family. It’s my story of seeking truth and justice, becoming resilient, and recognizing that we all have the power to change the world. But at its core, it is a story of hope. And given the times that we are living in, we could all use more of that.

Hope is what compels us to find purpose with what life has dealt us. After all, adversity will most likely arrive at our doorstep at some point. It will seem to crush us, zap us of our strength, and momentarily defeat us. But it will be hope that sparks the will to go on.

This is my story. When tragedy struck, I lost my bearings. In my darkest moments, it was hope that became a guiding light. Healing came when I grasped for a lifeline and immersed myself in the power of my words. And so was born 26 Seconds

Loss sparked a new beginning. I realized I had a lot to say. So much more than just 26 Seconds. And say it, I must. Whether it’s fighting for women’s rights and liberties, public safety, and the need to preserve the values and morals that have made this country great. Tragedy has always served as my greatest inspiration.

Going forward, I’ll share my thoughts on the themes that spurred 26 Seconds and how those very same themes are more common to each of us and impact us directly or indirectly. Despite how dark the days may seem; I am proof that hope will prevail. And so, I remain hopeful. I invite you to share your thoughts here as well.

Because we all have a story that must be told.
