I just returned from the American Society of Civil Engineers annual convention in Seattle! And what a week it was! Grateful for another incredible conference filled with energizing events, meaningful reconnections, and new relationships that I’m excited to nurture.
This week also marked a personal milestone as I concluded my term on the Board of Direction and stepped into the role of Past Director. Serving this chapter has been one of the greatest honors of my career. Together, we launched transformational initiatives that charted a bold new course for our profession.
I’m thrilled to welcome our new President, Marsha Anderson Bomar, Ph.D., and the incoming board—ready to carry the torch forward with vision and heart.
As civil engineers, we are stewards of public service. That mission doesn’t end with a title—it lives on in every effort to protect the health, safety, and welfare of our communities.
What’s in the future for me? Time will tell but for now, onward, with purpose and pride. 💙
